cornerstone of our school was laid in 1926 and the school was
officially opened. It began as Campbellton Composite High School. It
remained a high school until 1970 when it was converted to a Junior
High School (CJHS). It remained a Junior High until a shift to the
Middle School Philosophy in 1992. It has been called Campbellton Middle
School ever since.
They are a well-equipped school having approximately 200 computers –
90 are laptops in mobile labs that they can transport from class to
class.
Such peculiarities as a period called FLEX where they can work on different projects; an Activity Period
every day where all sorts of different activities are offered (i.e
floor hockey, computer club, chess, etc…), and the fact that they use LOTS of technology, probably the most of any middle school in the area, make school program unique.
